Connecting Odoo or Sage to El Fatoora: what to prepare

Many Tunisian companies already invoice in Odoo or Sage. For El Fatoora, the question is not changing the ERP, but getting each invoice out as a signed TEIF file and sending it to TTN. This article lists what to check in each tool before a connection.

The principle, whatever the ERP

The connection does four things: read the validated invoice in the ERP, turn it into TEIF, sign it with the company’s electronic seal through the certification provider’s service, then send it over the TTN web service or SFTP and bring the response back into the ERP. Both channels are described in our article on invoicing software or a connected ERP.

Odoo

Odoo exposes an external API (XML-RPC and JSON-RPC) to read customer invoices, their lines, taxes and partner records. What to check:

Sage

In Tunisia, installed versions of Sage are the most common. Data access depends on the version and the database used: that is the first thing to confirm before any estimate. What to check:

Before you start

  1. TTN membership.
  2. A company electronic seal from a certification provider.
  3. A batch of real invoices (including a credit note and an invoice with several VAT rates) to test the TEIF.
  4. One person in the company to fix rejected invoices.

What we do

Axynoxia connects your existing ERP to El Fatoora without changing tools: data mapping, TEIF generation and signing, sending to TTN, and the reference written back into the ERP. See the El Fatoora integration service or book a discovery call.
