B’moovd is the customer-facing app for a German sports bar and entertainment venue. It was built end to end by Axynoxia and is live on both the App Store and Google Play.
The problem
Venues that rely on a third-party booking tool end up in an awkward position. The platform takes a cut of every reservation, and — more importantly — it sits between the venue and its own customers. The guest’s relationship, and the data about that guest, belongs to the platform rather than the business serving them.
What was built
A customer app covering the things a guest actually opens their phone for:
- Real-time sports schedules so guests know what is showing and when
- Venue discovery for a group operating more than one location
- Table reservations that staff see immediately
- Live event tracking during matches
The emphasis throughout was speed and engagement — an app a guest opens on the way to the venue has a few seconds to be useful.
Where it stands
The app is published on the App Store, where it carries a 5.0 rating, and on Google Play. The venue owns the product and the customer relationship outright.
The same client group also runs a ticketing platform and a real estate site built by Axynoxia, which is the part we are most pleased about: the work was good enough to be asked back twice.
