A mobile app is worth building when the phone is genuinely where the customer is — booking a table, checking in at a venue, collecting a loyalty reward. It is worth avoiding when a fast mobile website would do the same job, and we will say which one you are looking at.
What we build
Booking and reservations. The case we know best: customers choosing a time, staff seeing the result immediately, and the two staying in sync when the network is poor.
Loyalty and customer accounts. Points, rewards and recognition that work at the counter without slowing down service.
Customer-facing products you own. Not a white-label tenant of someone else’s platform, with the customer relationship and the data belonging to that platform.
Renting versus owning
Most venues start on a third-party booking tool, which is sensible. The point where it stops being sensible is when the commission per booking exceeds what owning the software would cost, or when the platform sits between you and your own customers.
What is live
B’moovd, built end to end for a German venue group, runs on iOS and Android and is rated 5.0 on the App Store. It handles venue discovery, table reservations and live event tracking.
